Williams Pinball Machines
If you've ever been in love with pinball machines, then you are sure to be familiar with the Williams pinball machines. Williams was one of the leading manufacturers of pinball machines for 55 years. His first machine was called "Zingo" and that was done in 1944. His last machine was Star Wars: Episode One, which was manufactured in 1999.
I have a special place in my heart for William's pinball machines since I have owned 3 of them myself. These machines were Gusher, high speed, and Road Show.
Gusher was made in 1958. It was a wooden railway engine that my dad bought me a bar for $ 200. It is worth much more than that now - that's for sure, if you can still find one! Oil well was the first pinball machine to have an abundant William jet disappear.
High speed is a great game, and you can find it easily today if you look around on eBay. It has a flashing red light on top that flashes when it escapes from the police! High Speed 2 - The Getaway is a later model of this game, which is also a lot of fun. I still have one of the original high speed in my basement.
Road Show is a machine that had also later. It has lots of ramps, tunnels and caves, and also 2 talking heads, Red and Ted. At one point the game that throws the ball into Ted's mouth and swallows! It is quite fun, and really a blast to play. This machine was manufactured in 1994 and is one of the new types of pinball machines from William.
Are you addicted to pinball machines?
I know I am! There's nothing like the attraction of the silver ball, and lights and bells that pinball machines has to offer. In my opinion, video games are not comparable to pinball machines. Did you know that you can still find pinball machines used, even the old, in places like eBay? Now you can have one of your own pinball machine in your living room (or basement, if married).
